How often should my dog be groomed?

The answer will vary based on your individual pup's needs and your preferences, however as a general rule we recommend the following:
-Short-hair pups (less than 1 inch of hair) be groomed every 6-8 weeks
-Long-hair pups (1 inch of hair or longer) be groomed every 4-6 weeks with daily brushing at home. 
Remember the longer you want your pup's coat the more frequently they should be groomed.  Brushing and using a metal comb to keep your pup's coat tangle free is important for their overall health!  

Do you need to use my water or electricity?

Our mobile salon is fully equipped!  We carry our own water and power sources as well as a furnace and air conditioner. 

Can I stay with my pet while you groom them?  

We are always happy to show you around the salon, however due to our insurance policies we are unable to have you in the salon during the grooming process.  

Why choose mobile grooming?

Mobile grooming is different from a traditional salon.  We come to you. We provide one on one, specialized grooming for your pup.    

How long does a grooming appointment take?  

When booking your appointment, we will send a confirmation message containing an arrival window, 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time - 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.  After arrival, grooming typically takes 45 minutes to 2 1/2 hours and in rare situations, grooming may take up to 3 hours depending on your pet. 

Do I need to be home?  

We ask that you be home during the first grooming session so that we can meet you and learn your grooming instructions.  If you will not be home (Latchkey services) or will need to leave before grooming is complete, we ask that you notify us before the appointment or upon our arrival. 
You can request latchkey services.  You won't need to be home, your pup will enjoy a quick outdoor break and you will come home to a freshly groomed pup!

why don't you answer the phone during the day?

We believe that each pet deserves our undivided attention.  For this reason, we do not answer calls or text messages during a grooming session or while driving.  Most often calls are returned at the end of our grooming day (usually between 6pm-8pm) and due to the amount of calls we receive, we may be unable to call you back the same day.
